Hans-Jörg Rudloff is the Chairman of Marcuard Holding and a Member of the Board and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Rosneft Oil Company, where he was first appointed in 2006.
He is an advisor to the Thyssen Bornemisza Group, where he was first appointed as a board member in 1995.
From 1998 to 2014, he was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of Barclays Capital. He is a former Chairman of Blue Bay Asset Management. In 1995, he was elected Vice Chairman of Sandoz. From 1996 to 2011, he fulfilled the same role for Novartis. From 1994 to 1998, he served as the Chairman of MC-Banque Bruxelles Lambert. From 1980 to 1994, he was employed by Credit Suisse First Boston, rising to become Chairman and CEO in 1989. Between 1986 and 1993, he was on the Executive Board of Credit Suisse. Prior to Credit Suisse First Boston, in 1978 he was the Chairman of Kidder Peabody International in New York.
In 1965, he graduated cum laude from the University of Bern in Economics.
