Jan Reinhart

Jan Reinhart, is the owner of Reinhart Capital, a Swiss-based firm focusing on venture-stage investments in information technology companies. During his career, Jan has performed and participated in over 90 investments in private companies in Europe and the USA.

In his capacity as an advisor to Lilja Capital Advisory Partners, he serves as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) both for mandate selection and principal investments into growth companies.

His experience as an international technology executive, bank executive, venture capital and private equity investor, was developed since 1993. Jan was, in particular, launching the mySAP brand and Internet-based product range for SAP which generated USD 5 billion in revenues by the time he left SAP. Furthermore, he successfully invested with SAP Ventures into Internet-based companies like Red Hat, WebEx and CommerceOne which all successfully listed on NASDAQ. More recently, Jan co-founded the pioneering CSSF-regulated fintech company PayCash which he sold to Stuttgart-based Mercedes-Benz AG in 2016.

Prior to founding Reinhart Capital, he served as Investment Officer at Swisscom, as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development InnoPath Software in Sunnyvale (acquired by Qualcomm) and as a direct report for New Businesses to SAP’s Chairman, CEO and co-founder Hasso Plattner in Palo Alto, California.

He graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School and with an MS in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich.
